Our Mission Statement

We aim to revive the sport of Junior Outrigging.

To start with we hope to increase the numbers in the junior ranks in all local clubs by holding open days and run school base programs. While doing this we will endeavour to provide a safe and fun environment for all involved.

We will try to make the junior competition more competitive by travelling to zones outside our own and competing up in age groups. To keep juniors interested in paddling we will be sending teams to competitions overseas.

Good sportsmanship is something that is paramount to us. It is important to see that juniors have a smooth transition into the senior ranks and we will assist them as much as we can so not to loose paddlers.

Through all this we hope to foster a love, respect and appreciation of Outrigging that will stay with the paddlers for life so to keep the sport alive and healthy for years to come.
